yet, the film slags and over stays its welcome mainly towards the end where the climax just meanders along to the finish line. especially since Khemu is a consummate actor with amazing comic timing and crazy naughtiness to his manner. There is no half hearted hint hint wink wink business here, the jokes and innuendoes come full throttle and there are many a laugh out moments in the film.
so we go on this journey with him, a trip full of double meanings sexual jokes and puns. to undo the curse he needs to find true love which but of course is near to impossible for him.

Khemu plays Guddu a serial womaniser who is cursed by the tantric grand father of one of his conquests and finds his male organ turned into gold one fine morning. as a full length two hour feature film there is little meat to hold your attention here, all puns intended. unfortunately where it does not is that the premise at best makes for a very good half hour short film on you tube by the viral fever guys. So Guddu ki Gun scores big time on this front. where a mere condom ad gets moralities hurt, here is a film about a man whose organ turns to gold and how he gets it back to ,ummm, functional state. It takes real guts, and real balls of steel to go ahead with a premise like Guddu ki Gun for a film in censor ridden Bollywood.
